all one again

rage against the machine is christmas number one. it has been snowing pre-christmas for the first time in years. i have spent less on christmas presents than ever before. if i was a spiritual person i would believe that this coming year is going to be good.

i have made so many things recently that i want to share but i can't spoil it for people.

i find social interaction interesting and disappointing.

Sometimes I worry that I could just disappear. Sometimes I will it.

I am constantly hearing great words. Over the last couple of weeks my sensitivity to words, lyrics, ideas and sounds has inflated. I think (and hope) that this has spawned from my ever increasing desire to motivate and improve my creative side. It has taken a while for my mind to realise that I'm not part of an environment that demands learning - in the traditional sense - anymore. That doesn't mean I can be lazy with this though, it's about self improvement and discovery now. My skills, my process, my outlook is all developing and I'm excited to see where it is taking me.


Worryingly, it is beginning to look like a path of insomnia.

Good Causes and Good Men

He is just a lovely man. Reading his blog and things it's easy to see how affected he is by these experiences. I think it is important to note that regardless of how him or his music has changed over the last few years (for better or different - not worse) he is still a huge inspiration.

Especially to me.

I hope that people are starting to notice a trend. It's the actually talented and inspiring individuals in the limelight that are doing the things for good causes  - Hanson, Travie, Arctic Monkeys, Pete Wentz etc.

I don't see Lady Gag doing anything for humanity.

There is not a whole lot to say about it tbh, without becoming a total geek and gushing all over the internet.

They played fabulously, full of an energy and infinite cool I just haven't seen in a while.

They are a bunch of sarcy buggers aswell.

I was worried that it would lack the innate qualities of a wes Anderson film but I needn't have. The details and the journey were there and Jason schwarzman was ace. Not to mention it's awe inspiringly crafted and written.
